The TAUSD Board of Trustees approved a revised schedule for the 24-25 school year with changes beginning in January 2025. This includes the addition of one collaboration day a month. The calendar can be viewed on all TAUSD websites.

⚽️🐺Trinity High School proudly announces that senior Luka Robles has been named the Shasta Cascade Soccer League Defensive Player of the Year, recognizing his outstanding performance and leadership on the field. Selected through a vote by league coaches and athletic directors, this award highlights Robles’s exceptional skill and dedication as the team’s goalkeeper. Over the season, Luka amassed 232 saves, a 91% save percentage, and achieved a full game shutout against the league’s then second-ranked team, helping lead Trinity into the playoffs. Impressively, Luka also led the team with 10 assists, along with 7 goals and 54 steals, showcasing his versatility and leadership. Luka’s performance ranked him first in saves across all Fall Soccer teams in California and 61st nationally, a testament to his remarkable skill. His contributions are even more impressive as he also played as the team’s striker, displaying his commitment and impact across the field. In addition, Trinity High School’s Bill Kormeier received Honorable Mention in the Shasta Cascade Soccer League. Known for his work ethic and resilience, Bill led Trinity with 12 goals this season, maintaining a perfect 5-for-5 record in penalty kicks, which included critical goals that helped secure Trinity’s first playoff appearance in three years. These recognitions celebrate the hard work, dedication, and talent of Trinity’s athletes. Congratulations to Luka Robles and Bill Kormeier on their well-deserved honors! ⚽️🐺

On Friday, November 1st the THS Music Club will present a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1v1 tournament at the Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center. Players will compete on the big screen in front of a live audience for cash prizes. Musical performances by local music students will take place in between matches. Everyone of all ages is invited to watch the tournament, and admission to watch the tournament and listen to the musicians perform is only $5.
This year’s tournament will feature two separate age brackets, with the age 10-14 bracket starting at 2pm, and the age 15&up bracket starting at 5pm. Each of the two age brackets are limited to 16 competitors, and the first 16 people in each age bracket to turn in their sign-up forms and pay the $25 entry fee will be entered into the tournament.
Each age bracket will have three cash prize winners, as well as three gift card winners.
1st place prize is $125 cash
2nd place prize is $75 cash
3rd place prize is $50 cash
4th place prize is a $25 gift certificate to Moon House
5th place prize is a $15 gift certificate to Moon House
6th place prize is a $10 gift certificate to Moon House
